Prolifoss is a product specially developed for the maintenance and bacterial reactivation of septic tanks and small sewage treatment plants. It is also suitable for the maintenance of caravan and chemical toilets that cannot be treated with the usual chemtoifluids. Prolifoss consists of a balanced mixture of enzymes and bacteria and is used for liquefaction and degradation of faeces, cellulose, paper and other organic waste. The product builds up a stable bacterial flora in the treated system and ensures smooth operation in the sewage system.
Enzymes cleave the long molecular chains of the organic material. The decomposition products are now broken down by the microorganisms into gas (methane, CO2) and water.The septic tank contents are liquefied, homogenised and the volume is significantly reduced.The volumes of sludge, foam and floating layer are significantly reduced, thereby optimising the flow and enabling trouble-free operation. The emptying intervals for the sludge are reduced to a minimum and, ideally, are even eliminated altogether.
