Biological reactivation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants
Prolifoss STE is a powerful enzyme and bacteria preparation specially developed for reactivation and maintenance of sewage treatment plants, (activated sludge plants, trickling filter plants) and lagoons (oxidation ponds), etc.
Prolifoss consists of a balanced mixture of enzymes and bacteria and is used for liquefaction and degradation of faeces, cellulose, paper and proteinaceous and organic waste. Prolifoss builds up a stable bacterial flora in the treated system and ensures smooth operation in the sewage system.
Enzymes cleave the long molecular chains of the organic material. The cleavage products are now „respired“ into gas (mainly CO2) and water by the microorganisms in the activated sludge tank. The microorganisms build up a stable flora and continue to maintain the reaction practically independently.
